“Cara Sposa,” from Rinaldo, and “Sorge infausta uno procella,” from Orlando, are transcribed for solo tuba. Each aria is included in both the original key and a new (higher) transposition. Accompaniments are adapted from Ebenezer Prout (1905) and Sergius Kagan (1959). A Baroque performance guide is included, along with suggested ornamentation in the Italian Baroque style.
